Bought another Micra - K11 March Cabriolet!

Just picked this beauty up! Now this was on eBay and didn't sell. So I went to see it and saw it was in better condition than they were advertising it. There is a small bit of rust on drivers door which upon inspection can just be sanded down to metal, filled and painted

The roof only has a rip on the drivers side which ill have to get repaired but apart from that the engine bay is immaculate the bodywork is immaculate. Ill get some pics later!

Just a question to the automatics. It's got the cvh gearbox. How many gears does this have?

I counted 3 lol.

There was a 4speed auto box and a CVT box which doesn't have gears as such.
 
Ah I read up about it and I understand why it feels and sounds like its clutch slipping when I put foot down to the floor and the revs go to 6k rpm but it's not slipping.
 
Yeah well..... I'm deffinately not jealous...... Not atall..... Promise

There doesn't seem to be much info on this model of k11 so ill take lots of pics of the car tomorrow and maybe a video :)
 
Apart from the rust on the arch and bottom of door it's in excellent condition! Even the sills are rot free AND the heater blower works on all 4 speeds (very rare lol)

...just gotta call a couple of specialists about that roof rip/tear I suppose...
...like I said there may be more detailed info on an MX-5 owners club forum, about how you could go about getting it sorted, and the price range etc... :)

Candy apple red was nice plus not a actual major colour change too! :)
 
If anyone knows of a place breaking a cabriolet let me know. I need a price for the soft top roof. I'm gonna see how much to repair it first but I will prob have to replace in the future to keep its value up :)

Love the key. It literally is the best key I've ever seen
That jap cabriolet look blopdy brilliant... its the wheels that do it for me. Devil's in the details and all that

Dunno I just went on eBay and searched quickly lol

I'd have to take some measurements first before I decided but u get my point
