boot rattle on 05 march

I've had my march for a while now and have a rattle since a wee while after purchase (of course after showroom warranty runs out the problems start) but now I've moved to Christchurch New Zealand (for those who dont know New Zealand layout it was hit by a big earthquake nearly four years ago) its gotten worse and now I've installed all my audio gear its starting to slowly tick me off again. now ive been into Cockram Nissan in Christchurch and they wanna charge me a service fee of like $65 to tell me "hey your boot rattles and we dont know how to fix it either lol" something that doesn't quite make me convinced on handing my money over just yet, so now im asking the interwebs if anyone else has had the same problem and how you fixed it

its a K12 and nope its not the numberplate, ive checked that

Have a look at the latch. Might be loose. And check your spare wheel and jack or tools.

I had a socket find its way into the spare wheel and was rolling around in it.
