hi all, got my micra turbo'd now but cant seem to get the boost gauge to work, the instructions told me to fit it into the vacuum pipe which i have already but nothings happening! i dont have an exhaust system on it at the moment could this be the cause?

What do you mean by you don't have an exhaust system on?

You just have it open off the turbo?

How much pressure is your turbo creating, and what is the scale on the gauge?

The exhaust dumping to atmoshpere doesn't have anything to do with the boost gauge. Where have you taken the feed from? it should sitll work without boost and only go from -figures to 0.

You might be taking from the wrong feed if it does not move at all or it may be ######ed.

Get some picture up fo your setup as well, keen to see how you've done it. FMIC? what engine management?

Jabran.

ive took mine directly from the back of the inlet manifold...the one that attaches to the vacuum line on the carbon canister iirc...though most seem to say to cut into the vac line for the pressure regulator...but it all goes to the same place :)

as said should go full vac when idling (if youve got a vac/boost type gauge)

Its correct to be on your inlet mani. Leave it there and re-check all piping and jubilee clips etc.
