bluetooth audio from Android device > version 10

Hey there

Had to get a new phone, which runs Android 14. Now the problem is that my car (K14) can't find the phone's media library, which means no browsing for artists, albums, playlists etc., only next/previous/start/stop.

I found out by some web searches that it's because of stricter access security from Android 11 on, and 14 is even stricter.

Is there some kind of Nissan system update that will fix this or would it work with a specific player on the phone?

I mean, I can't be the only one who faces this problem.

Thanks.

Have you gone into phone settings and enabled android auto. Mine wouldn't display contact info until I enabled it

Ok, worth a try. But to be clear: I don't even use Android Auto. I didn't with the old phone either, I'm pretty sure it was activated, though, because I had tried it once or twice.

Nah, didn't work. I even tried different players with no success.

So can anyone at least confirm that they have an Android 14 phone connected via bluetooth (not AndroidAuto), and they are able to browse playlists, artists and such on the Micra's built in display?
