i have a mutant amp, with infinity speakers, they are both rated at 2 ohms, and have the same RMS, so they work perfectly together,
don't get 6X9s ever,
try to get component speakers, they are always better,
cheap brand names like Mutant and vibe are actually very good
don't get Fli, they are vibes but crap
ebay can get you dirt cheap prices if you shop around, i got:
touch screen DVD MP3 etc player
2X 75w RMS mutant amps
2X Infinity component speakers, (90wRMS shallow mount front speakers 75wRMS rear speakers)
active 10" vibe sub box,
all the loom and wiring i could ever need
for under £500
it gives me full surround sound when watching DVDs, does not rattle or distort in any way, and is super sharp clear sound even when loud, with a nice punchy bass that is not too over powering
