Alternative tyres to 175/60's?

Hi,
The K12 will be needing new boots in the next month before the worst of the weather appears. The current tyre size has limited choice resulting in dearer prices.
165/65's are almost exactly the same rolling radius and they are a more common tyre meaning I can afford a better brand. Has anyone else fitted this size and have any recommendations?

Ive had 2 sets of 17“ alloys on my 12,both had 205/40 which made the ride a bit harsh on rougher roads. Im currently on renault scenic ostra alloys. These are 16" 205/45/16 and the ride is lovely. Not sure about the effect on radius,but its comfy

what about 195/55 on 15 inches?

i am currently using 175/65 on 14 inches.

As a general rule so long as you try to stay within a 2.5% +/- difference in overall rolling radius then doesnt effect speedo reading too much.
