Air horn installation?

I've found a good mounting spot for them but I'm terrible with electrics... How would I go about wiring it up to a seperate switch?

You should probbly wire up to a relay, I never did. I wired mine live to the battery with a 2 prong switch from Maplin.

- I wired the +ve from battery to horn.
- I wired the horn to the switch.
- I wired the other prong on the switch switch to the - of the battery

I do believe there was a real risk of fire wiring this way as it's constantly live. You could wire it to the igniton or the cig lighter so that it's only live when ignition is on.

The relay will have five contacts.

30 - power in from battery. Fuse in-line (20A).
85 - coil. This can come from your seperate switch. Other side of switch to 12V.
86 - coil. Take this to negitive.
87 - output. This to your air horn.
87a - Not used.

I had them on my K10, sounded pretty cool and not that hard to wire in. You can buy relay kits which have everything you need

Police dont bother me when i get stopped i tell em its screamer pipes most of them laugh and are more interested in the boot/ backseat build tbh.
