Air filter

I was thinking about getting a air filter, Ive seen some ripspeed ones in halfords for about £35 are they any good. I dont really want to spend that much on one really. I think HKS do them but I am not sure?

Theres plenty of threads on this. I'd recomend an induction kit as aposed to just a filter because the filter bolted straight on to the throttle body makes you lose performance as apposed to gains although it does sound bad ass.

The HKS mushroom ones are best for turbo'd cars. I got a max power one off ebay for £7. Any 'universal' one will do really

Are the universal ones easy to fit without mods?

i have one.... the ripspeed mushroom filter with the green replacement foam. looks exatly like an hks..lol

Should do, can't remember the diameter of the K11 throttle body.

76mm I think..
The filter should come with adapters, if not, wrap some masking tape around the TB to pad it out a bit

Great that means the T joint I welded up will fit perfectly
