Air conditioning

Hi all,
unfortunatly a couple of days ago I had a bit of a crash :doh: and bent up my bonett, but thats not what is bothering me i also bent my AC, can anyone tell me whether its a DIY job to be able to remove the unit and either mend it or replace it. Can someone also tell me roughly how much it would cost to replace one.

if think you'll need to have it de-gassed professionally, as you dont wanna vent it to atmosphere (harmful to just about everything iirc ).

apart from that i cant really comment as i havent had any exerience with the aircon as mine doesnt have it....but i cant see it being a big job to either fix or replace the damaged bits.

has it punctured the rad or just bent it ?

its just bent it up a bit, might go to a garage to get a quote.

aircon rads are very soft ally and straighten very easily

yeah it seems to be, did straighten it a bit, just need to take the bumper off since cant get a proper grip. just needed to know whether it would be easy to do or not. gonna get the bonnet straightened out before i do anything else though.
