:) sportyade now then

cook me up some prices to replace this friction part ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,then i'll fling a decent clutch in so my k11 can move nicely and fling pics up,,,,,,,,or something :)
(got tooth pains royal gayness) :)

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,at the age where you mastered how to hoover a cat ? pass some skills on :) just try'd but cat smacked hoover nozle hard,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the 200mm QG one is too big for the k11,s really zed (starter ring gear overhangment, 239mm pcd)
polly,s one might be a 190 or 195 mm ? in order that the re-drilling is kept inside the ring gear :)

alright frank.

if i get the original pressure plate that fits this 195?190mm fly wheel / clutch set up,,,,,,,,just would fit new original thrust bearing and done ?

:)
morse em up bi bi beep hehehe:)

some ebay site,s give the pcd sizes innit mate :) , it needs to be a max of about 230mm really (to be safely inside the starter ring)
but some covers have cut-outs for extra clearance between the friction plate and the cover bolts (arrowed) :)

one year later,,,,,,,:) im a guy but be
acting like a waiter.
so this is a 8mm spighole ring im looking?

any one got my back,or you just all in the front:)
I'd suggest yes best get that removable friction plate replaced with a new thicker one so you get maximum PP clamp force.

polly man,i think all i can manage is give the plate some raised height with washers\spacers behind each friction plate bolt,if i can undo them.then let clutch try smooth plate down.

that's gotta be a custom precision machined tight fit spigot ring to get the fly dead centre cos any amount of offset will unbalance it against rpm

would not recommend using washers to move the friction plate out for several reasons:
- uneven spacing - all the washers are not guaranteed to have the same precise thickness, which will warp the face of the plate and cause uneven engagement/wear
- uneven support - the clamping force will cause the areas not supported by the washers to bend, which then warps the face and cause uneven engagement/wear
- reduced heat transfer - the flywheel acts like a massive heat soak/sink to absorb the heat during clutch slip and then dissipate it. seperating the plate from the fly will limit how much heat the fly can remove from the plate before the clutch & unsupported plate begins to overheat and glaze

when fitting a new flat clutch plate, you should always get the friction face resurfaced flat to match and speed up break-in.
fitting a new clutch on a worn uneven scored fly (like what I did with the old 3 pad helix on used JUN fly) severely limits the amount of friction and heat the clutch can withstand and makes bedding-in really difficult & long and really easy to glaze the clutch before it's 100% bedded.

if ur gonna be spending cash getting a thin 1mm spacer plate custom machined to evenly space the friction plate out, along with the custom spigot, perhaps it'd be an cheaper easier reliable option to just simply get a stock one-piece cg13de fly redrilled like mine and be done with it?

better get the cheque book out with these massive expenses about to hit me.
Thanks for the help, feels like a club when your involved not just groups of groupies.
