Instrument cluster removal on a K11 has to be the easiest out there, 2 screws at the bottom holding the cowl and just 3 screws holding the cluster, plenty of wire loom to allow you to unplug the two connectors, it's a joy to work on.

I remember the alloy tube spacer he made between the throttle body and manifold, about 3" long I think.

I've seen a few videos on removing the eprom chip from a cluster to reprogramme, I'm guessing they wouldn't go to all that trouble if it was possible to do it via the OBD port. Perhaps swapping the speedo's over in the clusters is easier, both options look rather involved though.

I think you can only get at the nut with a ring spanner from above. The belt has no effect on the wheels, so don't worry about that. very minor damage on the belt, again not something to worry about.
