New dashboard

Hi,

I've just bought a new dashboard on eBay for my k11 Micra GX which has tachometer.
The problem is my current dashboard displays 57k miles and this new 1 is 42k miles.

Is there any way I can correct the new 1 to display 57k miles?

I've seen a few videos on removing the eprom chip from a cluster to reprogramme, I'm guessing they wouldn't go to all that trouble if it was possible to do it via the OBD port.



Perhaps swapping the speedo's over in the clusters is easier, both options look rather involved though.

Hi,

I'm having a strange issue with my new dashboard. With the new 1 ABS light is on. But if I put my old dash back in it's fine.

Bulbs working in both dash boards.

Anyone else encountered this issue?

Yeah my cars got ABS. Don't seem to have any problems with it at all. Didn't have ABS light on old dashboard. But strangely ABS on this new 1.
I put my old dash back in and ABS light went out when engine came on. So pretty puzzled to why the ABS light is on the new 1.

I'm thinking of taking out the bulb for the ABS. As I don't have any problem with my ABS. With my old dash the ABS light goes out when engines starts.
