First thing to do is to look at the colour of the spark plugs and see if they look as bad as you suggest.

Agree, there is no point to changing the FPR either. Stock one is fine for almost all jobs.

Just find the cheapest battery you can find with the largest AH. Its not worth spending loads of money on them.

Any battery will do that will fit.

Martin, Not quite sure what you want to do here. Pretty much everything mechanical is the same, even if it has a different part number. It may be something that has to be built up over time if you want some kind of database on shared components. Typically however, ask, and I can probably tell you.
