Do you mean Double Din? As most cars in Jap land are fitted with Double dins instead of the standard single in the uk...? Why not buy a decent single din with a motorized screen?

that "50watt" isnt RMS, it'll be more like 20watts rms if that... As your not really going for big bucks and an amazing sounds system, this will do fine. If you want better power, buy an amp and hook that upto the speakers in the shelf

What advisory was on the battery? You can have it totally unhooked and floating about in the engine bay and they still cant do anything as its not part of the mot...
