Hi peeps,
Was thinking to arrange a meet down pod before the end of this year ;) Should be a laugh and a good day out. So I propose either the 2nd, or 15th October, which will hopfly give everyone enough time/notice. The date decided will also be dependant on the weather, obviously if its...
Hi mate, yeah as low rider said: mines 90-95 on cruising, but under hard driving: it reaches 100-110 + sometimes. Need an oil cooler really and probably a fan switch to help bring temps down quicker. Oh..and run 5w50/10w50 oil preferbly to help.
Ok mate, just thought you mentioned sourcing a smaller one as that one is too wide. Have you looked at Martins blog? he had a very similar set up.
Perhaps mod the existing manifold to perfect the angle of the turbo, or starlet manifold route? Dont give up either way
good luck
Mis-understanding mate, what I'm saying is the AFM meter will need to be mounted inline with the piping: just before the TB which seems to work best. This is no dought how Ed will recommend it as he has fitted mine this way and also on the previous 1.3 turbo he mapped which is known as a blow...
Nice work here Chris, project is coming along nicely & looking forward to the end result :grinning:
but where is it your planning on putting the AFM? cause this needs to be a blow through set up so somewhere close to the TB is fine otherwise I can see your issues if your trying to get it on...
thats sweet mate...most important part is downpipe which wil have a good flow with that 2.5". Thats what I want on mine..:wow: 1 day. Yeah things are ok, to be honest iv been waiting to hear from you seeing as you were busy with the wedding etc.
Remapped today, thanks to fusion (Y) car is now running 181 bhp, 155 ft lbs at 0.63bar. Still playing it safe as unsure of the limits of the engine which is still stock. JWT cams have lost me some low down torque, but have gained more HP top end and power delivery is alot smoother now...
interesting bit of info there anthony, where you find that? i always knew the law was you couldnt retro fit HID to standard headlamps without the projector/height adjuster as the light scatters and would blind people. To be fair though it would less obvious with these projectors as they look...
im not 100% but i think i messaged them agaes ago and they said they are for LHD which is why i went elsewhere to get them but maybe now they do them. nah keep the PS3 mate, we'l be online soon once the networks up (Y)
it depends on the bulb holder in the projector, but mine are for h7...
Hi there, I did not get mine from that site but from a seller in taiwan who custom made them for me for RHD cars. The only thing is he made the bulb holder to take a h7 which means I dont have full beam. I may get another set one day for h4 which will cost slighty more and sell the ones I've...
well even if its just you and your mates, if theres no one else on here then just pop down, they got a McD's and KFC to keep everyone going also
:wasntme: well your right about hetic on some days
cant be that bad shaun....? but yeah whenever people are ready to arrange something pop down. I dont usually go the enfield one anymore so most likely saturdays is better.
