Anybody know an average temperature? Got a little plan

I was thinking around 100 degrees? My old turbo setups were very hot on idle

Should be closer to 90C, (with the fan coming in at 95C), unless your cooling system isn't up to the job.

well i guess if your talking about the engine bay set ups then i would expect a little more due to the heat being spread out

Hi mate, yeah as low rider said: mines 90-95 on cruising, but under hard driving: it reaches 100-110 + sometimes. Need an oil cooler really and probably a fan switch to help bring temps down quicker. Oh..and run 5w50/10w50 oil preferbly to help.

mine maintains between 80-85C on normal cruise, a squirt of 10psi boost makes it shoot to 87C then thermostat opens to try bring it back down. sitting stationary or while i'm parking it in garage it creeps upto 97C then the fan turns on.

5mins before i reach my destination i turn the heater & fan on full hot with open windows to bring temps down to 80C before switching off.
