Just taken the SR in for it's MOT, I always get nervous at this time of the year :doh:. Fingers crossed that it passes :suspect:. Passed last year without an advisories and a tweak on the fueling map, not bad for a 1997 car. Worried this year as I haven't had much time recently to tinker/play...

You should be able to do 100 miles for 10L without too much trouble. Just as a benchmark.

Not easy to get to though. You can't mount it under the spare wheel (no space) but you could make a false floor for the boot and hide it under that. I've got 3 amps squeezed into the spare wheel well (no spare wheel) all under a false floor which is carpetted. You won't be able to see it if...

It's called competition.....humans will always try and get the best out of anything they can do. The current world record is around 180dB. Now that's loud. Edit: Most of these big competitors are sponsored by car audio manufacturers, so it doesn't actually cost them anything.

With a potential draw of 100amps then you want to wire it straight into the battery. I wired my 800w unit in like this. You'd need a hefty relay for that kind of setup. They have a switch on them so you wouldn't kill your battery when its turned off. They all should have low voltage cutoff...

I'd rather it be a weekend than on the Friday evening, but we'll see what happens :)

The 2 K11's I've had have been wonky too, so it must just be a design thing. No need to panic!
