some of the square ones have a nats box behind the heater and a 4 wire antenna , and some have a 7 or 8 wire antenna

there a 3 basic types of ecu, oblong prenats, square, and motronic and various types of nats that complicates it all

did you check the voltage of the solenoid wire ? diagnosis saves a lot of unnecessary work and parts changing

an immobliser that allows you to bumpstart down a hill would suck so i doubt yours is a nats issue

on k11,s nats cuts the injector signals, and a with drop of petrol down the t/b it will run for a few secs, i assume k12,s are the same ?

yes i would pull the small lead off, and red meter wire on that connector, with black meter wire on bare metal somewhere for earth

first thing to check is for 12v at the small starter lead when cranking if there is then its probably the starter solenoid

fusion used to alter the pinout on the prenats ecu,s so that they were plugnplay for pre 2000 k11,s tornado systems is the post 2000 ecu specialist

the ecu kit for the k12 includes the dash, bcm, ecu and nats bits i believe

the ecu kit includes the bcm and speedo iirc luke

throttle body ?

have you checked the level ? i did a flood damaged k11 that had strawberry milkshake for auto fluid

is the nats light flashing chris ? does it run if you wet the air filter with fuel ?

its usually just the fluid level, it has to be pretty full

loads of room :) if you mount it sideways the alternator and rad are hard to avoid tho

its part of the pump iirc mate, sump and side cover off job

i built and/or fitted about 20 cg engines over the years,n/a and turbo,and blew a lot of them but i never had any oil pressure problems, there is probably something amiss, rather than a pump issue

another member had that same problem after a rebuild a few years ago there are 2 woodruff keys on that end of the crank, the pump, one may be missing ? or a pressure relief valve problem maybe ?
