Will 1.3 go straight in a 1.0?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and have a 1.0 k11 was just wondering if I could put the 1.3 engine with gear box straight into my car, will it be straight forward? Thanks

Yes you can. Why bother changing the box though. Just do the engine, keep the 1.0l box and swap the 1.0 flywheel onto the 1.3. Best to swap the ecu for the 1.3 also.

Thankyou, that's what I'll do also my car is 1998 will I need to change the ecu as my car has nats?

You don't have to change the ecu but it would be preferable that's all. If you did though, you would also need the immu that's screws onto the ignition barrel and the chip out of the associated key.
