Which filler do i need?

I've got a few small chips in my wing mirrors, and a fairly big gouge in one of them after dropping it on the floor.. at the most maybe 2 or 3 mm deep.

What kind of filler should i be using on this?

P38, P40? Something else?

I thought i had some stuff in the garage but i cant find it anywhere

p38 then smooth it down p40 has fibreglass in it

Right, I'm going to have a go at smoothing my bumper myself..
The lines running across it, whats the best way of filling these so they're smooth?
I don't want it cracking or anything.. I heard plastic welding is best for this, but can't do that myself!
What would be best for this?

P40 then sand back, then P38?

i would use p38 only, but you have to key it on
40 grit scratches and wash it well with cellulose thinner ( any bumper dressing or silicon is the worst stuff ever for adhesion and must be washed off )
