Wheel Nut Question

I am looking to get some alloys for my car, i have priced the locking wheel nuts could i put 1 locking nut on each wheel and use the original 3 nuts off the four spoke SR wheels for the rest or NOT???

nope.... the origonal wheel nuts will not have the same pitch diameter (bottom of the wheel nut hole) as the new alloys..... you need to use the correct fitting kit that came with the wheels or even go and get a fitting kit from an alloy wheel supplier.

if you fit them with the standard wheels nuts you can create pressure points on the nuts and even snap them off.....

but yea, use one locking nut and three wheel nuts,.

I'm looking on ebay to find some locking nuts does it matter if they are not wolfrace nuts?

What size are the wheel nuts I require that fit onto the micra threads?

Quick response wud be great.

it doesnt matter what nuts you use as long as they are M12 with a 1.25mm thread and 60 degree taper.

i used the original nuts from my standard 13" wheels on my 15" alloys along with locking nuts and they fitted perfect
