Wheel Centre Bore

Just a quick one for you guys,

if the centre bore of wheels are different (say if you are changing allloys) does it make much difference and if so - is there any way of getting round the problem without buyin new wheels?!

i know there is a thread at the min about wheel nuts and stuff but didnt want to spam that one with my random out break of question!!

spiggot (sp) rings will get round the problem of differnt centre bores

cheers rik - do these come in a variety of sizes then i'm guessing?!

and is it as easy as going out with a ruler (or something of that sort) and measuring the wheel and measuring the hub centre?!

yes but i think they are only used when theres a small difference in size.

you'd probably be better measuring it with vernier calipers as they can often be for example something .4mm
