What to do now??? Seized Engine.

As some of you know, my car died in a very dramatic way causing me to almost crash into a few cars, thankfully i managed to avoid all obstacles and stop safely.

My question is, Will i be able to have a 2.2dci engine fit in the car? What will be the biggest engine it will be able to handle. 2.2? or 1.9?

Also, what will be involved such as ECU change, wiring hassle etc.

what car is it?... k11 k12 k13?
was it petrol or diesel before?

It's a 1.5 diesel K12

I doubt the 2.2 will be a straight swap mate there's alot to consider! Maybe check the Renault forums as I'd imagine that would be your best bet! Buy a donor car and swap everything over! But will be a good project give the little Micra some grunt and with a remap and a turbo you could be pushing very decent numbers indeed! I say it depends on your situation, if you can afford the parts have the time and space and skills, and second car then I'd go for it! I've got 4 cars off the road at the moment lol

My micra was my runabout. Now i'm using my Toyota which is just making my wallet lighter, £70 fuel in just 4 days. About 250miles.

I think its because i was missing proper boost.
