i think the blower will need 20k, so 7k for the motor (that vid was with the motor running at about 2k) i since fitted a gauge and ran it up to 6k without the magnets explodingDo you know what kind of RPM figures the motor/generator will have to run at ? Are you gonna use the car battery or a separate one? Savage project !!!
12v just wont cut it (waay too many amps eh), so need the same sort of voltages as the electric and hybrid cars really (50v ish i guess) with a small LiPo pack ideallyAre you gonna use the car battery or a separate one?
the 1.0,s thrive on revs marc, i used to rev mine to 8k dailyWill frequently revving the bollocks off a 1.0 k11 do any damage (I dont do this just asking if I can really) or is it tough enough to take it

Does it involve ripping the dash apart?
yours is the smaller c/v benQuick question, i need a new CV joint on the near side (passenger side) drive shaft. I know there are different spline sizes between face lifts and the 1.0 and 1.3 but i'm not sure what size i need. Any ideas?
Mine's a 94 K11a pre-facelift 1.0 Litre
Cheers
Thanks frank Do you know what the spline sizes are, as i'm not sure and don't want to end up buying the wrong oneyours is the smaller c/v ben
Mines a 52 plate and there's no rust anywhere that I can findTo be honest for a 51 plate mine has barely any rust at all. Tiniest surface rust on cross member and tiny tad underneath. Its surprisingly new underneath although the old biddy I got it from hardly ever used it in 13yrs lol possibly why. Will still protect it anyway
