what did you do to your micra today ?

£120 a pop? Stuff that I'll stick with my CG10 £40 to fill my tank :)
But 400 horses under the bonnet means WHOOOOSH bye, bye to almost everything on the road - LOL
I still look at those big Jag's today, but wouldn't use it enough to warrant it....could put it on the drive, and just look at it I suppose!!!!
My missus would kill me LOL

Same year as mine with like 80k less miles haha. How hard is it to find a cab, I have never actually seen one
He didn't find it....I did :p but the missus didn't like it
:rolleyes:I came out the dentist one day, and it drove past....I'm having that I said.
Followed it, and left a note on the windscreen to ring me, a few days later the lady sold it to me.....simples as that.
I didn't take to it either, so Andy bought it from me.
Good job he did...'cause he's in love with Stephie (the car)

Not many around now they were only manufactured for 12 months in 1997 only 250 to 300 approx were ever made. Only 23 including mine were officially imported into the UK by Nissan UK in 1997, but there were others privately imported into the UK! :)

Here's a few pics of the Cabrio!

@Andy5077 i know you live quite far away from the main land but you should come to JAE this year. 4 days of Japanese cars and your lovely cab would slot right in. That and i want to see it in person haha ;)
Thanks mate I would like to go will know closer to the date if I can? You never know if Andrew (from MSC FB group) also NeX (Sweden) and Bunny from MSC Forum (Holland) might also go you could have 4 Cabrio's there lol! B-)

Nice one mate what spec is she and condition? If you want to join our Facebook group for Nissan March Cabriolet owners it's called The March Cabriolet Club and has been formed to share information and to help other Cab owners with anything to do with these rare cars! B-)

Hi Andy, she's actually @C0llis0n's old one. She's corroded away underneath quite badly but I just couldn't see her broken up, especially as I have access to a welder. She's been hiding in my garage over the winter though in a couple of weeks she'll be towed to my dad's place for repairs. The aim is to have her ready for a couple of shows and weekends away later in the season, though she'll be staying standard spec (for this year at least).

Interestingly, she has a manual gearbox, though I don't know whether she was built with it or converted after import.

I don't really use Faceache as I find it generally pretty toxic, but I'll drop by the group and say hello.

Pictured with her there are my other half's 2000 1.3 Mystique 'Misty' (who a few people met at last November's Reading Gate meet), and 'Jessie', my daily, a (sadly rather shabby) 2000 1.4 SE+. I really need to get around to introducing myself and my cars properly but this will have to do for now.
I've been too busy.

Got my sr clocks working and the tacho wired in...wired it into the plug going into the dizzy as this had more slack on the wire. Works fine but get a random flutter of plus 1000rpm at idle registering on the tacho every now and then (engine speed does not change). Any ideas?

Hi Mike Nissan manufactured and sold far greater numbers of March FHK11 manual transmission Cabs then the NCVT version I did read somewhere a ratio of 4 to 1! Also the factory add-on accessories available was really good resulting in many different spec Cabs around! B-)

Been working on making my Ali lower alternator mount, the standard one is nearly 1.8kgs! Hopefully my new one, will be about 0.5kg.... All made from a standard K11 mount. Will try fitting it at the weekend.

some work done about 2 weeks ago ,but not published. Yesterday I broke wheel bolt, repaired it today, also checked the front caliper with one job.

finished the corroded hatch lip. Welded the sheet of metal, put a putty: tada! Looks awful, but rule no.1 completed- it has to work. It will be better when I wash the car.
Screws? eh, wondering about it about 2 days, and nothing. All stock threads were cracked from the lip. I've seen this run-through idea at complety stock 1.0GX under the supermarket. I will put furniture endcaps painted red at those bolt heads, I should look acceptable.
Also I found 2000 wiper motor so "horizontal" mod is equiped.

alloys equiped- 175/50R15@ 7x15, but looks like I need 1mm wheel centering rings
also made tow hook cover

cheers!

What a productive day!

... Not

Went to attach a Polo 6N splitter to the March, drilled all the holes, jacked the car up and was lining the splitter up when I got some dirt in my eye :(
So I gave up because it hurt!!

Broke out the autosol when my eye had stopped being painful (about four hours) and started work on my Racing Sparco wheels trying to bring them back to life. Only got half of one done, then ran out of light.
Damn.

Here's that Figaro I was talking about yesterday.
Bit of a rust bucket, but surprisingly not bad underneath.
A lady left it at the garage 10 years ago, and never bothered with it after that.

Some would get this and make it all shiny and new again - but not me.

Ah, interesting! Your Steffi just gets rarer & rarer, eh. ;)
It's good that she's got you to look after her.

Looking forward to getting mine on the road. I can't help but smile when I look at it.

So, see you at JAE yeah?
2 cabs (minimum), 1 G# @MaxK11C. What a dream.

It would be better if there were more NCVT'S manufactured and still around so parts for the transmission and specialist bits would be easier to source! :-(

Rarity is a blessing & a curse, eh.

Any body damage to our Misty's Chromaflair flip-colour paint will be fatal as (depending on who you believe) the paint is either a) no longer available or b) costs £1000/litre! Another special edition that was only produced for less than a year.

Fitted a pair of Renault 5 gt turbo wheels to the front, and ordered a pair of semi slicks for the other pair (which will then go on the front!). Loving the extra grip 185 profile gives, so much more than 155's...
Also cut out the grill for a janky diy nismo-esque grill. And bought a second hand whiteline front antiroll bar for a steeeeeeal. And fitted a velocity stack to the throttle body...busybusybusy.

EDIT
And jap plates. Because I'm all about that life.

Well, I went out for a drive this morning, and my god damned brake pedal still goes rock solid after driving with slow, brake heavy people looking for a free parking space.. Looks like I shall have to get a master cylinder if it carries on.. But after I had finished with that I went back into the garage and started work on my box for glamping :D
