Need to bring them out a tad more and find some small nuts to secure them.

I have a pair of these, unsure about fitting them though, don't like the idea of drilling holes!

While changing the front pads on Monday, found out that one of my headlights was cracked right the way across (yep, typical...you go to fix one thing and end up finding other stuff that needs fixing....the week before MOT....grrr)...got a pair off eBay for a decent price, delivered and fitted today...boooooom! So, now I have a spare 2nd facelift nearside headlight unit...if anyone needs one?...

...also noticed that the nearside driveshaft gaiter is split....but that looks like a ballache to get to...so it can wait...

Well i'm back after a bit of an absence. Much has happened since i've last been on here. Recently sold my beloved K11 (to one of my best mates brothers so it's not gone forever) and on a bit of a whim picked up my very own K10 :D For the princely sum of..... £130. I absolutely love thing, should of got a K10 in the first place i think hahaha

It's a 1992 Micra LS 1.0 facelift K10 in (as the V5 states) Beige.... Ohh and i'm parked next to my mates MK2 Fiesta anyone was wondering what i'm next too :)

It's the one that was up on the MSC facebook page. I thought for the price it was worth going to have a look at since it was so close to me, and as soon as i saw it. I knew i needed it in my life, and i like to think i saved it from being a). Scraped or b). banger raced

Thought I'd give her underbody a clean and a coat of stone chip...

Only did it last year bloody country roads...

Saved some weight tho...
Nice and clean and black now :D
Unfortunately i put the wheels back on and tidied up then realised I didn't take a photo afterwards...
But you get the picture... well not... meh

Rally car all ready for tomorrow night! Up to Aberystwyth for Night Owl, then Welshpool next weekend for Border 100(if the car makes it home.......)

i will have a k10 somewhen in my life again, sunny van show car and k10 or k11 daily ;)

Fair play Chris. That Sunny van is proper awesome :D. Whats' the code name of it, as i can't seem to find it on the interwebs :L

It's a 1984 Datsun/Nissan b11 sunny van, not like that ATM as the owner then was useless and bodged everything haha, according to wiki only 3 panel vans were made but I don't know if that's genuine or the vans genuine or converted, the rear windows are Perspex so no idea, probably converted but as I said no receipts to say and no previous owners I know know if it is, rare anyway if it is or not haha

How did you manage to get hold of this beast then? Did you go looking for it or did it come to you haha.
All i can say is i think it's awesome and well worth fixing it up. It's something completely different and really stands out :D (in a good way) (that front end is great mind)

Night Owl rally complete!
Finished 47th overall(of 90) and 11th in class(of 23) but could have had 5th in class if we didn't pick up one fail for the sake of 3 seconds!
Nankang tyres were brilliant so a big fat middle finger to all the people that rolled their eyes at me when I said I was running them hahaha!

Whites were extremely rough, and a wire came loose behind the dash which meant I lost both spotlights after around 30 miles in(of 110).

Wash the car and inspect any damage underneath, then fix the spots and we are ready for next weekend!

Almera air box fitted, still need to sort the cold air feed (excuse the state of the engine bay)
Smoked side repeaters
Tinted tail lights, would have gone darker but that was the whole tin

Is it worth getting a performance air filter for the box?

I had a GA16 airbox running in my K11. A performance filter isn't really needed. As long as you buy a new clean one you should be good to go. Thats all i did with mine. After all £3-£5 for a new standard filter is alot cheaper than £40 for a performance one :)

What Nankang's were you running?
NS2R's.. Check the reviews before you shout ditch finder like everyone else has! Although I did actually pick up a slow puncture but it would have punctured even the best of tyres...

My normal nav can't do next weekend so a keen, committed nav recommended to me put the entry in immediately..
But he's just pulled it with no given reason.

Took a few more pics of the K10 today and fixed my leaky exhaust. All i needed to do was to tighten up the bolts that hold the downpipe to the manifold :D

Thanks for the info, always willing to learn from other peoples REAL experience especially when used on Micras.
