was the engine still holding back matt ?Finished 3rd in class today
i doubt if the lambda will come in to play at full throttle with the nistune anyway matt (speed sensor disconnected) mine certainly does,ntI wasn't driving so cant comment, it was Suze's turn to drive. I was on the maps.
Didnt notice any issues, but then it only did it on part throttle and there was no part throttle stuff today
Suze didnt comment on any issues driving there or home, so at the moment who knows. I will run the diagnostics checks on the maf and lambda, but suspect now it may be the mapping a bit out at that load/rev point.
Right....I think I've found the reason for my uneven rear arch gaps...I swapped the springs and shocks to opposite sides and it still happened, low on the right, high on the left...so the only thing it can be is the link arms...so I checked and the right side I can lift up and down easy but the left side gets harder as it moves up...you know the feeling of pushing against a rubber bushing...anyways, I thought I could just undo them and free them up but the bolts are all rock solid....so I've sprayed every bit of every link with grease and left it for a bit...hopefully that'll sort it....

*blushes and runs away to hide in a tree* xNaughty.
Will update soon, life with SirChris is just a bit manic haha. Wasn't massively slower than a 210hp scirocco earlier though which is pretty cool.
Some mild overheating on this engine too (while under high load for prolonged periods of time).
Would bypassing the heater matrix by joining the inlet and outlet on the engine for the heater on the engine by looping them together with a hose cause coolant to bypass the radiator?
Rad is fine, was just checking thanks suspect my smart *rse flow meter or a vac leak feeding unmetered air now.no the heater matrix circuit runs parallel to the coolant return pipe.
check if your radiator is blocked (hose flow test) or damaged (too many bent fins restricting air flow) or the thermostats stuck closed or the block coolant jacket is blocked.or water pump is flow fast enough.
if the rad needs replacing, perhaps try a thicker k11 auto rad? prob overkill for NA but tis a good cheap upgrade.
Angle grinder x
I know that some plastics used in signage have two colours ...one under the other ...could be very useful, you would know the colours??????
Anyways, I'll give you a shout when I am near to completing the jig, all you would need is a template for designing on, could be used many times for sure.
I'm babbling on a bit now, but I know what I mean ( I think)
Hello wagoner. Had a bit of a go today with the first template ....broke it halfway through cutting - whoops, brittle stuff.Nope, never used material like that. Sounds good though! It's got to be worth a trip to a laser cutter to get a master made so if you need help with creating the right drawings, give me a shout. The software I use can export to the dwg format that they'd need. Also, I know a chap who's just bought a laser cutter and installed it in his garage!
....and which part of Blurple's delicate underside do you suggest grinding??? :O

Done a bit of research via ebay, and it seems the one I need is the pre face lift / pre '96 ('95 car) - Is this right ?
Anyone got one for sale before i hit ebay ?
Also today i looked at the large pile of bits to list on ebay, which includes many Micra parts - should be getting on with that this week.
I've got a jl audio sub in a box for sale / tradestarted the sub box / fake floor in the back, first problem is crappy sub and amp, need to cut a gurt hole in the back of the new box so the amp can sit in it properly
Pre face mate for sure !Never again will I remove a numberplate that's stuck on
Anyways, facelift handle
Pre face handle
Or no handle with either nipples or LED bolts
What do you think?
