what did you do to your micra today ?

Wdidt. Fabricated a new gearbox mount, my original wasnt the best if im being honest, one of the bolts to the gearbox had sheared off... ez out time.
New mount, new fittings and a freshly tapped threads now its better than ever.

Managed to get hold of an electric wing mirror switch. I've been looking for ages. Like hens teeth for the second facelift they are. Just need to get the mirrors now.
Am I just being too lazy not wanting to lean over or stretch to adjust them? Hmmm. Maybe.
You've got to love that on the later models the wires are all there for everything.

Anyhoo test fitting stuck em on roughly with double sided foam tape :D

Gonna be different with jap lights and jap boot and they will be coded to match the car :D

its a replica I have man :) needs tidied up quick sand and paint and sorted, doesn't come with the normal spoiler bolts you have to screw bolts into it then put it through and tighten up with a nut, but im tiger sealing aswell :)

Don't know buddy, got it of @Kamarley but he didn't know. only info I can find on it is its off of a Seat of some sort :D

Yeh spotted that bud, had toyed with the idea of one myself :) Hope it turns out well for you & thanks for the heads up on the fitting!

Second-hand ones on eBay were around the same price as the replica at bidding price so probably went up, only spotted a few after I ordered it :L
 
Well i have been to Ed's......

And i am very pleased :)

In the end she made 126.1 bhp and about 100 ft/lb of torque

Ed and the guys at Surrey Rolling road were impressed with what she made.

Cant really post the graph until Thursday when i am back in the office. (Currently in a work meeting, which i was only a few mins late for Ed!)
 
Engine spec for those interested.....

CGA3 standard bottom end, from a used car.
CG3 head (non coil pack) head, with ported and polished ports.
Grp. A 773 Cams
New dizzy, ht electrics etc....
GA15 throttle body with CG13 internals
GA16 'Black' injectors
PTFE spacer between inlet mani and TB
Grp. A Airbox
Grp. Exhaust system, with cat replacement pipe

New alternator
Running OEM P/S pump

Running to a 1.0 box with 4.4 diff.
 
Wdidt? Went to go to work..... keys in ignition, cranked mildred over...... nothing atall :( mad panic as I was running late for work.... so had to bum a lift with mumma bear :D a 5 min drive for me...... took 20 minutes *rollseyes* devastating to not see my car in the car park :( thankfully the wonderful @micrapro came to my rescue :D while I was at work he very kindly changed the starter motor for me as this was what I thought was wrong...... unfortunatly not..... think the ignition barrel has worn to much :( I can turn my car on and take the key out the ignition while the car still runs..... not good!

Yeah, I started Toms car with my key, they do wear pretty badly...
