I've also removed mine ever since a monsoon holiday drenched it through a leaking seal.

I'd say was about 10kg or 15kg if it was dry tbf. All trim except door cards and dash out, all carpet and the rubber backed soundproofing on back of footwell, and the sliding bit of roof for sunroof. REALLY want rid of the sunroof, looks hideous with no roof lining.
All that gluey soundproofing paint stuff next, and got a full service to do tonight. Engine isn't sounding happy but still no worse than at JAE, probably an exhaust gasket somewhere making it sound worse than it is.

Reminds me of the time I went to look at a Triumph Herald convertible, full service history one owner loads of paperwork, needs some welding, so I calls the guy, he tells me its got loads of receipts etc ,but I must be able to Mig up, told him I can weld etc, goes to look and he ushers me around the back to the bottom of the overgrown garden and poking out of the weeds is a car, not moved for at least 20 years, its so rotten it had a 6ft tree growing straight through the floor !

Spent a lot of the evening researching things i need to sort for Wales Rally GB one thing i will need to sort is the gesr stick giater, anyone got one spare? I managed to damage my one when fitting the quick shift. It will be needed to keep the mud snd water out of the car!
Finally booked my car into a local independent to have my mounts looked at! Took me long enough, driving upwards of 500 miles a week so the car has to be in top shape.
Forgot to mention, I saw a turquoise cabriolet a few weeks back in around Bacup/Whitworth? Haven't seen it since, was it a members?

It hits most things but not extremely! lol Just standard steels at the minuet with 165/65/13 part worn ****ters.. got some minilites waiting to go on tho that are 13x7s so il put 165/55 on those
