Love the airbox mate unlucky on the rust...I cut these 4.5kg spotlamp brackets off the car today.
Replaced them with this slimline alternative.
While in there I found this
and this

In all honesty its as much my fault as his. He did them outside my house so I should have spotted itIn our defence it was in the snow and f00king freezing!
only the neglected ones come on guy,s............. some of you change the engine oil and filter every 5k, yet you allow the body to silently rust away ffsLooks like there's a few x-members with the tin worm at the mo
So you're saying it's ALL my fault? Good luck lowering your car, I can't do it......might do it wrong!im glad your taking some of the blame Ade, but when i took the steel off, who passed me the alloy to go on? i'll change it at somepoint

Only finger and thumb pressure is allowed to check the strengh of sills and xmember mate so if their finger/thumb didnt go through it will passMine's been on the road for just over a year and it's the first time I've purposefully taken the bumper off I half expected it not to last this long considering what I do with it. I suppose I should give it an oil change tbh.
Yeah, the airbox flummoxed the last scrutineer to look it over, he didn't seem to understand what it was for, checked his rulebook and asked me to point out my standard plenum chamber. That's posh words for 'intake manifold innit?' I said and pointed under the ebb style throttlebody. He read out the words 'airfilter is free' gave me a funny look but passed the car.
I wonder how I passed my mot like that though eh? Perhaps the corrosion is not excessive!
