Weight of K11 Disk braked axle

Hi

Just bought axle for K11 with hubs and no disc's. Anybody know how heavy they are, I need to send a courier to pick it up?

Off eBay by any chance? With brackets welded in for calipers?

A standard stripped axel isn't that heavy, about 10-15 kg

Yes off ebay, thought I would buy it ready for phase two of the car, didn't think to bad for £45. Sounds light I thought it may have been about 25kg, but if it's 15kg at the most then hopefully cheaper in courier costs!

No problem mate, it's the calipers, discs and pads that add the weight mate but a bear axels a lot lighter!

Hope all goes well with your build, I'm guessing the brackets are to put standard front calipers on the rear?

The bloke said no they take the calipers off the super s model, so pressume he meant rear super s calipers.

Ahh rite grand, well if you need a reconditioned rear caliper just shout lol
