wd40 in dizzy

i know it rids water from un wanted parts but i covered up the dizzy the best i can.... but when i pressure washed my engine it got a bit wet.... so i sprayed all the engine and lots inside dizzy... will the dizzy be alright? i cleaned the rotor arm with break cleaner and the plastin bit inside but without stripping it will be alright?

As long as the oil doesnt go to the optical sensor inside the dizzy, i think that there is no problem...

well thing is i made sure i got it right in.... is the optical sensor in casing or should i strip the dizzy down and clean it all?

Its kind of hidden, i would say you wont have troubles...

alright then if it gives me trouble what shall i expect if its the sensor? and if not will i be able to do a quick swap of complete dizzy assembly?

It can run rough or even dont start at all. Swap the whole dizzy is easy, swap the internals of the dizzy requires a philips screwdriver and a torx key (dont remember size), and its done quite easily. But if the sensor has oil, you should replace it, dont think you can clean it because its so sensitive...
