just wondering what's the best model to go for, has to be a 3-door and have A/C too,
thinking the bigger engine is the one to go for, or not,?
thank.s,
The activ model has the Aircon as standard, some of the sport and sport+ also have it. I've got two 1.4's and they're great. One was a 1.0l but they're too slow and you'll be forever changing gear in hilly areas, so I swapped the engine. In my blog if you're interested.
I once test drove a 1.0 & fine little car though it was, it seemed a wee bit low powered.
I've had a 1.3 (CVT not a manual) for 13 years & I'm very happy with it, it's quite brisk
I can imagine the 1.4s are really fast.
I have a 1.3 CVT and it's not slow at all. Though I have no PAS or A/C units running off the drive belts. Though 1.3 are pocket rockets!
Nice colour and no sunroof, the corrosion on the rear wheel arch could be problematic and usually associated with with other corrosion damage in the wheel arch and the rear light cluster where the light cluster sealant has failed letting in water into the void below! :-(
