i have just bought one of these and wondering where you think are the best places to bolt all the wires to

there is about 10 wires to attatch to engine and stuff but where would you suggest for it to be most effective

Is it a circle earth kit? Provides a better earth for major electrical components (and the block) as they connect diectly to the battery.

its like this however there are more wires
bout 10

and its got a box with like batteries in??????

well i got it cheap of chie and i dont think it is thanks.

having good earthing points is always a good thing, a lot of problems arrise from bad earths

thanks for the help ed!

Well, if you look at the diagram it shows the best places to connect the wires to :)

The box of batteries is probably a box of capacitors?

What kind of problems result from the already existing earths in a car?

It suggests you connect it to:
Intake manifold (maybe has water temp sensor, but is held onto well earthed block with over 4 studs and bolts).
Engine block - already has an earth.
Head lamp - have their own earths.
Cylinder head - has an earth.
Alternator - again, own earth.
Transmission - no electrical components, held onto block with numerous bolts.

I really can't see the need in it?

lol
cheers for response guys i bought it cos it was cheap and it cant do no harm can it.
anyway its fitted and im happy enough with it. i never expected big gains in BHP or performance or anything anyway

Fair point, I apologise for being so blunt, they are a fashion at the moment, and I see some of them as extortion. As andrew points out, all vital ecu sensors have their own earth provided by the ECU, its common pratice, and its not actually possible for one of these to improve anything in this sense. but some people seem to think they do something :)

hey if you are linkin a few amps together in the boot it might do the job a treat jus make sure the earths are as short as possible and the earth point is clean and secure ( the same goes for the neg to earth on the battery) and u cannt go wrong! :)
