Vacuum leak - HR12DDR

I've noticed a leak here, I dismantled and cleaned, reassembled but have just found it's still leaking. All the parts are in good condition. Anyone else had the same issue? Cheers

When you say leaking, do you mean sucking/blowing air or are you talking about the oil misting?
This engine seems to be quite a messy engine as the pipes around the air intake on mine are oil misted. I also recently took the pipework off from the throttle body to clean that and there was a good amount of oil on the inner side as well!!

To me it looks like oil is blowing out of this pipe under pressure, it was all over the supercharger and tensioner below it.

I think the rubber piping must have swollen after contact with the oil and is allowing some oil / air etc to leak out.

I also found what appears to be a crack starting in the intercooler pipe just down from the elbow, you can see similar seepage there too (pic attached).

I can't recall where I found these other pictures but at some stage I think I'll replace all the plastic pipe with steel.

Also the pcv valve on these is super cheap / nasty. Sometimes it works and others it doesn't. It's all plastic in construction, unlike other brands like Toyota.

I'm thinking of fabricating an intake pipe for it but need to find the maf adaptor pipe here in NZ, not many 51mm pipes here, all bigger stuff.
