OK got "Little Bandit" on the rollers today and the results...

280 WHP @ 6500 rpm @ 12 psi!

Approx. 334 crank HP.

We had a slight DET. problem above 5500, mainly due to the higher comp. ratio so we backed the timing off.

NEXT...Fit the Aquamist & UP THE BOOST!

I will get the graph up as soon as I get access to a scanner!

how would a 1.3 turbo fair up against one of these tho? especially on track

it all depends on how well it grips/handles

I would imagine a norma K11 to be alot more agile. Certaintly more controllable and progressive. Lets face it, 280bhp in a micra doesnt make it good on bends! Especially with alot of upfront weight.

better braking into bends due to less upfrontweight,also better round the bend same reason

and better out of the bend cos they cant get the power onto the road and grip.

yes it is its the first all nissan 2.0 turbo iv heard off.

yeah but the thing is this was built as a drag car not for track or circuit use. its not gonna handle as well as a turbo 1.3 but thats obvious, different kinds of applications thats all. i personally wouldnt do but i have the deepest respect for him and am very interested in seeing the end result
