Tyre size

Does anyone know how wide i can go on 14 inch rims? Will 185/55x14's catch on anything and does anyone know if these are common in the UK?

if 205's are ok, I think 185 would be fine..... common? ring your faviourite tyre shoppe

yeh i have got 185's on my micra they dont scrap or rub

i got 195's on mine with 15inch rims and only get the occasional scrub with a load in the back

195/45r14 toyo T1R's, love em to bitssss. saved my foolish arse in a couple devil's bends. nice width and apparently fits best on 6-6.5" wide rims.
