Typical, my proper Micra alloys wont clear the caliper!

I have a jan 2001 March, 1.0, and its come with 13 inch steel wheels as standard.
Its not the very last K11 with the horizontal rear wiper but the one before with the larger headlights.
The discs up front are vented . I got the wheels off a UK Micra Si (1998) but they wont clear the caliper - the spokes are catching on the edge of the caliper and I will need at least a 10 mm spacer to clear it! I dont want to use spacers, besides the wheel studs wont be long enough either.
I wondering if my brakes are different being an import. The offsets are 45 the wheels are 14 inch micra ones like this

yea they are vented brakes so they are about 10mm further out

am i right in thinking, if i fit a vented disc asy to my k11 with solid discs, it will space the wheels out a further 10mm each side?

No because the disc will still sit on the hub in the same place.

I cant put a 10mm spacer on! Besides, the studs are way too short and I dont want to bodge it. Looks like im going to have to sell them on :-(

vented calipers are designed wider to accomodate the wider disc, and pre-face marches had an oddball hub with inbuilt sliders (like the k10)
yours may be similar

No because the disc will still sit on the hub in the same place.

its not the disc that is the problem, the caliper needs to be wider to fit the wider disc which pushes the caliper out against the wheels

Damn, looks like i'll have to put them on ebay then, typical, only just had the tyres put on :-(
