Yes, the above post clearly states it's obvious they've had it! They've both been boxed for a while, and because they're ceiling mounted, it was never easy to check how much life they had. I usually waited until they broke before replacing them.
Someone asked me a question of how much life they had left, so i switched one on and it failed - description was updated. The other does work, but its nearing the end of it's life (also written in description). Both very cheap still and advertised as spares / repair. If anyone expects a fully working thing to turn up then it's there fault for not reading the description!
