Turbo Ident? Which car is my turbo from?

Hi guys,
got this turbo off broony a little while ago: http://www.micra.org.uk/threads/28168-HKS-Turbo-manifold-and-Refurbed-Garret-T2
what i would like to know is what car the turbo is from so that i can get bits for it more easily (gaskets, exhaurst elbow, oil pipe bussiness)
not much written on the turbo:

T2 is the stanard rs turbo i do belive

turbo parts are easy to get

T2 is used in hundreds of applications. There should be an ident plaque in the middle of the turbo that should have a serial number on it.

hmmm, is it visible without taking the turbo apart? didnt see a plaque, il have another look though. are all garrett t2s the same then? would just like to be able to ring up a motorfactors and get gaskets etc.

Ed, the plaque is only small and usualy has garret in bold (if its a garret) and it should be on the out side of the turbo mainly in the middle, mines just to the side of the oil drain. have a look on ebay for a full rebuild kit mate i got one off there for £65 and it came with all the correct bits and a little few extra bits (Y)

Ed: could you name a couple of those cars please, so that i can get parts if i need. rs turbo? im pretty sure this one came off a saab of some kind?
