Thermostats

Hi all.

Just going through FAST and there's more than one selection of thermostat to choose from.

82deg C, 88deg C and update emissions.

lol, which one should I be buying (i'll only buy a genuine nissan thermostat and waterpump, cheap insurance considering I know i'll get a quality part. Plus I have a contact who can order stuff direct from nissan japan eheh)

i somehow have in my head, Lower temp for power and higher temp for efficency? other than that, don't know.....

We live in a warm climate, the lower temp one will be fine. The higher temp thermostat is for colder climates, to try & keep the engine closer to its designed operating temp range.

To be perfectly honest either one would be fine, aslong as the cooling system is in good nick.
