The little green beast! - Stripped, slow, and not low

Just an introduction.
I have just bought a 1.0l Micra that I'll get a blog about when it's worth doing. <--- Done!

Well, this is the green beast!
1.0l, stance like a plane, relatively good nick.
time to change all of that!

Plans (while jobless)

• Splitter
• remove silly fake trim things if steelies look aight
• complete strip of rear interior, most of front other than dash
• hopefully buckets
• matt black grill, etc etc
• little touches here and there

Plans (after aquiring job hopefully)

• Coilies / lows / general suspension setup
• 1.3 cams
• 1.6 injecters
• fuel distributer etc etc
• get it breathing good (full janspeed setup? maybe decat)
• Nistune / bodged job of removing rev limiter

Shall see how this goes.

Updates

• Squeaking - Power steering, appears to be nothing to worry about
• Entire rear end stripped and just generally a massive diet for the little thing
• Grill painted
• Wheels sprayed mindlessly with black paint

• A few jet washes...no polish or proper washing yet

Because this Micra is obviously stanced to perfection, it needs a sticker to say so.
(Or maybe its there to cover a hole in the boot that I need to fill in, who knows!)

Partly worried about what that strip of tape is hiding...some on both sides

I always liked the black grills on the red micra facelifts, so thought I;d try it, quite happy with it, need a splitter to match it though.
Can't decide if I prefer black facelift grill or prefacelift nismo grill


Tow hooks been decided, cheap neon pink paint, probably should of gone with bright orange or red, but oh well...
...really, really, really really, needs lowering though ...I think it would look so much nicer if it wasn't a light aircraft!
Also managed to get hold of a haynes manual for £5 which will hopefully teach me a fair amount

It was more of a "hey sit on the hood and see what it looks like lower!", and seen as though the car is far to soft, it ended up a decent test

Boring pictureless update for now!

Negatives

• Melted H4 socket and snapped it like a boss.
• Scuffed side of car with computer case because I lack brain cells
• Realised I despise the feel of the power steering (May be a fixable issue?)
• Realised the horrid lack of grip in rain currently

FUN THINGS

• Bought a focus splitter, bodge fitting job inc
• Blackened some insides of the lights
• Painted my airbox red because ... well just because. It doesnt even look good :')

I'd like some advice on some slight lowering as well if anyone can help ...
i.e matiz rear springs on the front, Corsa B shocks + springs on the back? What springs would be a decent option, cut lowering springs? cut micra springs + how much of a drop am I looking at? I really don't want to be that low, I want to whack some 15's on and get some decent tires on the go I believe!

@Jim...Save your money on chopped lowering springs unless you have good roads & no speed humps.I chopped my Spax & it handles great but the ride quality is appalling.Previous to the Spax I had chopped standard springs which was bearable & looked good.I'm going to fit Matiz when I get some but for now going back to cut standard...

That isn't tape mate, that's what nissan used to seal the joints together! although normally if it's orange rather than white or whatever colour it is then it normally means there's rust underneath it.

Saw a k10 in the car park next to me today with the same thing and figured it must be a nissan thing! reassuring
