I replaced the coolant today in my 1.0l K11 and when bleeding the system, I noticed the electrostatic cooling fan didn't kick in. (Come to think, I have never heard the fan work before, although, never any cooling issues?!)
Did a little diagnostics, I plugged the fan directly to the battery and the fan works fine, so then I checked the temp sender unit (the lower one with 2 wires). I bridged the two wires together, expecting the fan to kick in, but it didn't?
The gauge works fine, keeps bang on the middle (always has)
Does anyone have anymore suggestions please?
Im driving to Morocco this summer, so I just want the cooling system in tip top condition before I go!
