Survey: how many MPH @2000 RPM with your CGA3DE?

Hello everyone,
I daily use my K11 CG10DE also in highway and I would like to lower the scream of the engine, giving it a little rest.
As I would like to do a complete engine+gearbox swap, to better understand if it's worth it, and given this engine seems to be rare in my country, I would like to ask who has a CGA3DE, what is the speed (it's ok even from odometer) @2000 RPM.
Just for info, I installed on my CG10DE a tachometer and @2000 RPM I measured 37.3 MPH with a GPS.

Thank you very much in advance.

I have a CG13 with larger 195/50/15 tyres which runs in 5th gear/2000rpm at approx 43mph

The CG13 and CGA3 share a similar 5th/final gear ratio of 4.628

Earlier preface CG10 run a tall 4.7-4.9 ratio (est 41-42mph)

Whereas the later face-lift CG10 runs a very short 5.22 ratio (est 38mph)

Hello Pollyp,
many thanks for answer.
My K11 is a 2002 car and infact my 37.3 mph match to the short ratio you reported.
Is there on gearbox a label/code indicating what type of gearbox it is?

afaik there's only a serial # at the top near the clutch cable support bracket

The 2002 CG10 uses coilpack ignition with crank sensor at front of bellhousing so the only option is to swap to a cga3 box.
The CG13 is a dizzy ignition and doesn't feature this crank sensor.

Main way to tell between the gearbox imo is the subtle design of the casing,
Note the pre-face CG10 is smaller, thinner input shaft & driveshaft hole, less reinforcement webbing, no lower brace bolt holes.
Can't find pic of facelift CG10 box.
Note the cga3 is very different, more reinforcement webbing, coilpack crank sensor, inverted starter motor location

Pollyp many thanks, really.
A so complete photoreport is precious!
It's amazing how Nissan invested on this model: usually the brands are looking for saving money not in emprovement and developement.
Now the hard stuff... To find a decent pack engine+gearbox.
Thanks Again and have a nice day!
