Sun strip

I have a sun strip on the outside of my front window and because the window wipers lap over it and its got its MOT next month how would i go about taking it off?

Er, i had one on the car i bought and just pulled it off. Left a bit of residue but that came off eventually with some elbow grease

most mot centres won't though, I know loads of people who have had to take them off.

Certain MOT places that deal with faster/modded cars completely over-look it.

However best thing to do is as Arnold says, fit shorter wipers!

I'm getting a sun strip sometime next month! Even though it's a bit late for the sun!!

um i thought you were allowed 8inches or somethin?

read the box most sunstrips come in, they say that they cant touch the wipers. NeX failed his MOT on this so put Nova wipers on i think. Oh and i also got told this by a copper at the side of the road before.
