Struggling with my avatar

I'm wanting to change my avatar but i'm really struggling at the mo for an unkown reason

I click the browse button choose my pic.... wait an eternity... click okay enough to wear the mouse out yet no change :S

Anyone any idea why?

You'll have to make sure that it's quite a small file...
I had to change my picture from a PNG to a JPG file because the original file was simply too big (same image/same pixel size...different format)

What image are you trying to use?...it may simply be too big

...possibly....

I tried once to upload an image that was a GIF file...didn't like that at all LOL
