Stripping Black K11 SuperS + other stuff

After inspecting the micra more today the sills aren't a problem for me but the rest of the underbody near the sills is a mess, I simply can't be bothered, I don't mind a challenege but I'd rather enter a royal rumble!

So am stripping it

Are the "35mm lowering springs" the only thing I need to lower the car?

Darren - you can just lower a car 35mm and keep the OEM shocks. thats what I did on my older blue K11.

Some people would reccomend an adjustable Panhard rod! I haven't bothered n have no trouble with -35mm lowered on standard shocks.

just sawp the springs round. people advise to upgrade the dampers but its not important. just do what many other people on here have done sawp just the springs and keep the oem dampers.

Posting of the wheels will be pricey though, would definatly be cheaper in petrol costs.
Was looking for around £100, the tyres are in very good condition as the wheels came off the car not long after I bought it and only went back on whilst refurbing the alloys that are on the pics above.

All but the crossmember, stripping of car bits starts on saturday, will let you know and get pictures for you so you see the condition first

how about the drivers side driveshaft/cv joint ? is the boot split ? did it make any noises before you took the car off the road ?

Nope, engine was running nice before, will be working in car at weekend (weather pending) so will see what can be used.

Yes, rest is standard but available, there's no mid cat but has a striaght through de-cat pipe

It does give a nice sound, the Remus exhaust is popular because it looks good and adds a nice sound without being OTT.

All parts on the car being sold are to be removed this weekend, will see what I can do with regards to posting stuff.
