Steering - creeking

Hi Guys

looking for some help.

there is a creeking sound coming from the steering. any ideas? it does it when turning left or right but not all of the time seems to do it at certain points, but not 100% sure on that.

Probably one of the CV joints. A common problem.

When I see creek I keep picturing crocodiles for some reason :laugh: I see where I'm going wrong you mean CREAK don't you, silly me.

I have what appears to be a creaking noise from the steering rack area, but only on really cold mornings. Do you have power steering?

Only happens on the PAS ones, I can hear my pump hissing sometimes too. I think it's just a worn pump, I wouldn't worry about it until the pump seizes and things become scary. God speed.

My car doesn't have power steering :S Thats the confusing thing.
