I was thinking of buying a steam cleaner from argos or halfords, cheapish thing to clean up the parts as I go along changing the clutch on my K10 (yes I might have some form of OCD) and refurbing the steelies etc. I was also thinking it might be good for cleaning the seats and the little gaps around plastic trim on the exterior and bits on the engine bay on my mk4 golf before I sell it.
My question is two fold... Are they any good and is there anything I should not try to clean with it other than the obvious electrical (will it strip the paint or melt the dashboard?). Thanks.
