frank Club Member Apr 27, 2010 #4 if there,s a patch of knackered teeth on the flywheel you could bump the car a bit in gear so that some better teeth line up, if not then you,ll need to remove the starter and check it out eh (2 x 14mm bolts holding the starter iirc)

pollyp Club Member Apr 27, 2010 #5 possibly a weak/sticky starter solenoid? does it sound like when ur trying to start an already running engine sort of grinding?
